May. It is the last full month of school this school year. It is also a very appropriate time to recognize our staff. The month of May hosts School Principal’s Day (May 1st), National Teacher’s Day (May 7th), School Nurses Day (May 9th) and also the Rochester Public School’s Staff Appreciation Picnic (May 29th –more details to come RPS Staff!)
Thank you to our more than 2500 employees who keep our mission top of mind. Each day a teacher steps into a classroom, or a custodian enters a lunchroom, or a choir teacher sits behind a piano, or an administrator provides feedback to a parent, we are all making a difference and aspiring to be better.
The mission we strive to meet each day? Inspire, challenge, and empower all students with the knowledge and skills required to reach their full potential, to contribute to future generations, and to become involved members of a global community
