Category C: In-District Staff Development Activities and Workshops
Staff development activities, in-service meetings, and in-service courses

PDExpress allows staff to enroll in classes and have credit awarded upon completion. The class presenter has the responsibility of requesting CEU approval for any new training using the process outlined by the Department of Staff Development. The committee will review these requests and award appropriate credit. All participants must complete a reflection on learning and submit it to the presenter before credit may be awarded.

(This category does not include regular faculty meetings or preschool workshop hours spent working on preparation for one’s own contracted assignment.)

Local in-service classes
Staff development classes and workshops
Athletic or coaching in-service workshops or clinics
Portions of fall preschool local workshop
Staff, department, and other meetings that are structured educational learning experiences


Clock hours:
One hour of participation = one clock hour.
