Message from the Superintendent, Mr. Michael Munoz
February is a short month but one that is full of many notable events from Black History Month, President's Day, Susan B Anthony Day, and even Random Acts of Kindness week. My email signature bears the quote: “Today will never come again. Be a blessing. Be a friend. Encourage someone. Take time to care. Let your words heal, and not wound.” This anonymous quote speaks powerful words. Kindness comes in many forms. Have you participated in a random act of kindness today? I challenge you to pay it forward. Be a friend today. Be a blessing today. We are all a part of Rochester Public Schools as educators, parents, or mentors within the community, because of one reason; the education and welfare of our students. Encourage someone today. Inspire someone. Challenge someone. You just never know when your random act of kindness will move mountains.
