To inform parents/guardians, students, staff, citizens, and media of the many activities, meetings, concerts, and special events within Rochester Public Schools, the below calendars are available.
Rochester Public Schools recognizes that introducing green efforts in our buildings will create a positive environmental impact, while establishing financial savings. In an effort to establish green practices in the Communications Office, we will be developing environmentally friendly publications as much as possible by implementing electronic distribution of previously printed materials.
The District Events Calendar is released in mid to late August and given to the student who is the youngest in the family at the meet the teacher event or during the first week of school. The calendar will be delivered to the youngest in the family’s school. The interactive electronic District Events Calendar will be available on this site near the end of August. This is a large PDF file.
The District One-Page Calendar is usually approved by the School Board in February. This calendar lists non-student days, start, and end dates.
Longfellow Elementary School operates on a unique 45/15 calendar. Its one-page calendar differs from the rest of the District and lists non-student days, start, and end dates.
The remainder of the calendars listed are for staff scheduling reference.
School Start and End Times lists the times when all schools in Rochester are in session.
