Who are we?
We are a small school with small class sizes. We support the academic, social and emotional needs of students. Emphasizing quality relationships and collaboration with social services and county agencies.
Our offerings include vocational and career emphasis, and independent study options for students over 16. We also support parenting students and have on-site licensed childcare.

At-Risk' Criteria
The following are a few reasons a student may choose ALC, but the reasons are not limited to those listed below.
-Behind in graduation credits -Performing below grade level -Chronic attendance issues -Limited English proficiency -Recovery or treatment -Mental health issues -Homelessness -Difficult home life
Eligible students must be referred by a school counselor.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Area Council PTSA, the nationally recognized Parent Institute School Success Web Content Service is now available in both English and Spanish for elementary and secondary levels, this service automatically delivers professional, research-based tips and ideas for school success on topics such as responsibility, respect, student motivation, reading, math, homework, study skills routines and discipline.
